Erin McIntosh is a process-driven abstract painter working in acrylics and watercolor. Born in Delaware Ohio, she received her both her B.F.A. and M.F.A. in Painting from The University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art, in Athens, GA, where she resided for nearly two decades. McIntosh has taught for UGA’s Cortona, Italy, study abroad program and has had residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and Atlantic Center for the Arts. She exhibits her work across the United States and her work has been published in New American Paintings, The Georgia Review and Create Magazine. McIntosh’s work is represented by Gregg Irby Gallery in Atlanta, GA; Weinberger Fine Art in Kansas City, MO; and Articles Gallery in St. Petersburg, FL. She is an Associate Professor of Art at the University of North Georgia where she teaches painting classes.
