New Summer Courses Added

The School of Art is excited to announce the addition of 8 courses to our summer class schedule. 

Newly added classes include Thematic Inquiry with Marni Shindelman, Introduction to Book Arts and Advanced Book Studio with Eileen Wallace, and Modern Art History with Dr. Katie Geha.

Over the next two week we will be highlighting each course on Instagram and through our student e-newsletter. Be on the lookout to learn more about course descriptions, see examples of student work, and much more!

All summer courses will be transitioning to online instruction for summer 2020. Please visit our Summer Courses page for more information about the School of Art’s summer schedule of classes.

Please note: The ability for all summer course to run is dependent upon meeting a minimum number of enrolled students. While the School of Art will make every effort to offer these courses to our students, being listed above does not guarantee that the course will run for the summer term.

Requesting an override into a class?

Please utilize the online request form. If you are contacting an instructor to request access into a class, provide them with the course number, course CRN, your 811#, and a link to this form. If there is not an instructor listed for the course, contact the Area Chair.

ONLY THE INSTRUCTOR OF A COURSE CAN SUBMIT THIS FORM. If a form is submitted by a UGA student it WILL NOT be processed. 

PLEASE NOTE that sending the form to an instructor DOES NOT register you for class. You will need to complete the registration process in ATHENA once you have been notified that the form has been processed.
