University of Georgia staff photographer and alumna Chamberlain Smith conducted a creative studio lighting workshop with students in Associate Professor Marni Shindelman’s “Constructed Image” class this past week. This visit is part of an ongoing collaboration between Shindelman and the UGA Marketing & Communications photo staff to provide students at the Lamar Dodd School of Art with direction on framing subjects with controlled lighting, color filters, and studio props. Rejoicing about the visit, Smith shared, “Always a pleasure for our photo staff to collaborate with photo students!”
