Paintings by Professor Margaret Morrison on Display at GMOA

Two large paintings by Lamar Dodd School of Art Professor Margaret Morrison will be on view in the Georgia Museum of Art’s M. Smith Griffith Grand Hall and Patsy Dudley Pate Balcony this semester.

Margaret Morrison received her MFA from the University of Utah in 1988. Morrison has exhibited in museums and institutions around the world. Morrison has also had numerous solo and group exhibitions in New York City and has been featured in the New York Times, ARTnews, Art & Antiques, M Magazine, Smithsonian Magazine, Florida Design, Juxtapoz, Aesthetica Magazine International, Pinch Magazine, Agave Magazine, WideWalls and the Georgia Review, to name a few. She has been represented by Woodward Gallery since 1995 and her work can be found in many public and private collections around the world.
