Sunkoo Yuh and Ted Saupe Included in Ron Meyers 85

Ron Meyers is joined by friends, including Professor Sunkoo Yuh and Professor Ted Saupe, in an exhibition that celebrates his 85th birthday.
Ron Meyers 85th Birthday Extravaganza presented by the Schaller Gallery in Saint Joseph, Michigan will be on view from November 2, 2019 until November 30, 2019. A reception will be held November 2, 2019 from 6 PM – 8 PM.
Curated by Ron Meyers, emeritus faculty of the Lamar Dodd School of Art, the exhibition will include Dan Anderson, Rick Berman, Marv Bjurlin, Linda Christianson, Bede Clarke,Tony Clennell, David Crane, Maria Dondero, Steve Driver, Nancy Green, David Hiltner, Chuck Hindes, Jan McKeachie Johnston, Randy Johnston, George McCauley, Peter Olsen, Ted Saupe, Michael Simon, Patti Warishina, Sunkoo Yuh, and Minsoo Yuh.
Ron Meyers has been in clay for over 30 years, known for his loose, whimsical and pictorial approach to utilitarian pottery. Ron Meyers holds a 1967 M.F.A. degree in ceramics from the School for American Craftsmen, Rochester Institute of Technology, and B.S. (1956) and M.S. (1961) degrees in art education from State University of New York College at Buffalo. He taught at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC from 1967-1972. He then spent the next 20 years teaching at the Lamar Dodd School of Art where he retired as Professor Emeritus.
