Current graduate students and other emerging scholars will expand the scope of the exhibition by exploring the concept of love throughout the history of visual and material culture. The keynote lecture “Art, Love and Marriage in the Italian Renaissance” will be presented by Dr. Paul Barolsky on Friday at 4:30PM in the auditorium at the Georgia Museum of Art.
The 2019 Emerging Scholars Symposium is held in conjunction with the exhibition “Life, Love and Marriage Chests in Renaissance Italy,” on view at the Georgia Museum of Art March 9 – May 26, 2019.
