UGA Students and Professor Restore Historical Mural in Madison, Georgia

Color the World Bright, a group lead by Dodd Professor Joseph Norman and including Dodd students, Ben Thrash, Lia Davis, Madison Gibson, Elizabeth Qardan, and student project manager Katie Eidson, recently completed the restoration of a historical mural in Madison, Georgia. This is the second “ghost sign” Norman and his students have worked on. “Not only is this tremendous outreach to the larger Georgia community, but an excellent example of conservation and restoration,” say Norman. The students will be honored by the city of Madison later in October.
