Margaret Morrison's painting, "“Flying in Formation,” will be featured at the Georgia Museum of Art. In collaboration with the Georgia Review, the Georgia
Museum of Art at the University of Georgia will present the exhibition “Storytelling: The Georgia Review's 70th Anniversary Art Retrospective” from Nov. 5 to Jan. 29.
Morrison was invited to be a featured artist for the Georgia Review while she was living and teaching in Morgantown, West Virginia. She had no idea at the time that she would end up in Athens, GA as a member of the faculty at the University in the Lamar Dodd School of Art.
The Georgia Review has been published since 1947 as a quarterly journal of arts and letters offering short stories, general-interest essays, poems, reviews, and visual art.
