Dodd Assistant Professor of Art, Jennifer Crenshaw, curates this unique exhibition that allows the viewer the rarely permitted opportunity of experienceing the artwork through the sense of touch.
The Inspriation for the exhibition Textiles: The Sense of Touch was influenced by trend forecaster Li Edelkoort who stated, “Interiors and Products will need more tactile designs as the use of computers and screens makes us crave the sense of touch." Tanya Aguiniga, Erin Geagon, Courtney McCraken, Johanna Norry and Zipporah Thompson are the artists featured in this exhibition.

Opening Reception:  September 15, 6:30 - 8:00 pm
On view from August 27 - October  8, 2016 at the Lyndon house Arts Center.
