Paul Pfeiffer’s Term as Dodd Chair Extended Through 2018

The Lamar Dodd School of Art and the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences are pleased to announce that Paul Pfeiffer’s term at the Lamar Dodd Professorial Chair has been extended through 2018.

In residence at UGA since January 2016, Pfeiffer has been an integral part of life at the Dodd, teaching an intensive cross-media critique class and offering a highly anticipated public lecture on the subject of his internationally acclaimed work in the mediums of photography and video. In addition, the Dodd was proud to host an intimate exhibition of Pfeiffer’s work at the Dodd Galleries, offering faculty, students, and the community an opportunity to engage important works held in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of Art, The Broad Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.

In the course of the coming months, Pfeiffer will continue to engage with faculty and students as he prepares for solo exhibitions at New York City's Paula Cooper Gallery and the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis.
