How To Apply

Deadlines:

Summer---February 1
Fall---April 15

IMPORTANT:
Any student contemplating studying abroad should apply for a passport immediately. You must have a passport in order to apply for the visa required by the Italian government for study with the Cortona program. It is the student's responsibility to apply for their own visa. Please contact our office for further information concerning visa application.

Applications for the Cortona program cannot be considered for acceptance until ALL of the following information is received. Send all materials BEFORE the deadlines above.

Eligibility
*An applicant must be a rising junior or higher. Individuals who have finished at least two (2) years of full-time undergraduate education are eligible. Seniors and graduates are also eligible. We have had students ranging in age from 19 to 75.

For graduate credit, students must have completed an undergraduate degree, and meet all requirements of The University of Georgia Graduate School for the classification which may be applicable for one's situation. Students seeking graduate credit should apply as soon as possible to our program and request necessary transcripts, immediately.

*Each applicant should have or have had a "B" average or higher, in his or her major cumulatively, from all colleges and/or universities previously attended.

*Each applicant must have completed all foundation courses (or equivalent) by the time of participation.
